The Alliance’s newest member companies provide some of the most widely used and popular applications on the market today.
The Cloud Alliance seeks to support the growth and vibrancy of the cloud provider ecosystem and promote the important role third-party applications play in the long-term success of the Google Apps suite. In the Alliance’s latest research, published in conjunction with Frost & Sullivan, findings show a positive relationship between the use of third-party integrated Google Apps Marketplace and Chrome Web Store applications and overall satisfaction with the Apps platform.
“Third-party applications have long played a central role in the success of the largest software platforms and Google Apps is no different,” said David Politis, Chairman of the Alliance and CEO of founding member, BetterCloud. “Our newest members provide critical end-user and administrative functionality and in all cases provide capabilities not offered by Google Apps natively. Products developed by Cloud Alliance member companies are essential to the continued success of Google Apps and as such, it is our mission to advocate for members both within Google and the community at large.”
The Alliance’s newest members join founding members BetterCloud, Esna, Fujitsu RunMyProcess, Insightly, Lucidchart, ShuttleCloud, Smartsheet, Spanning, Switch.co, Yesware and Zendesk. As the Google Apps ecosystem continues to expand and mature, the Alliance will look to add new strategic partners in the months ahead.
